Cielito Lindo Candles & Arte Mexicano is a candle shop based in Oxnard, California, est. in 2022. Our mission is to bring the beauty of Mexican culture into every home through hand-poured candles crafted with care and dedication.

We use 100% soy wax and clean, sustainable oils to create products that are as meaningful as they are beautiful. While we celebrate the artistry of Mexico, our commitment extends beyond our candles. We actively support our communities by participating in cultural events and donating to local organizations that align with our values, supporting underrepresented communities and preserving cultural heritage.

Why "Cielito Lindo"

“Cielito Lindo” is a Mexican folk song written by Quirino Mendoza y Cortes and popularized in the 1880s, making it probably oldest songs in the Spanish-speaking world.

There are many versions and meanings of this song, but one thing you should know, is that it is considered a symbol of Mexico. In recent years it has become an unofficial national anthem for Mexicans, sung as a sign of unity. It is sung spontaneously in sports games, particularly at soccer games, as well as protests and every kind of gathering where love for Mexico is expressed.

Inspired by the iconic Mexican folk song ‘Cielito Lindo,’ our candles are a celebration of the music, art, and culture of Mexico. This timeless song, a symbol of unity and pride, represents the spirit of joy we aim to share through every product we create.
